Re: 351C EFI, its alive!
Today was a good day to have it land on its feet again and take it for a spin.
The only thing I had to do after lowering it was to torque the wheel nuts, mount
the deck lid and the antenna!
Check out my decklid hoist that allows me to remove and mount the decklid all by
myself. The important factor is that it doesn't take any valuable floor space
:-)

The hoist is originally designed as a ski-box hoist and the local Volvo dealer
had it on sale about two months ago. I just couldn't resist it. I had the
decklid in the ceiling during the winter but with simple straps that took the
whole family to operate.
Anyway, I took my oldest son with me and we drove across town to a place where
he is applying for a job. That was his first trip in the Pantera, despite the
fact that I've now had it for over a year. Absolutely no interest in cars or
technical things :-/
The trip was uneventful and everything worked according to plan ;-)
There was no sign of the bucking between 1500 - 2000 rpm it used to have with
the Holley. Just smooth acceleration.
Cheers,
Thomas
