Paintjob - how hard can it be?

It was an vivid thread a while ago regarding how much a paintjob should cost
and how difficult it can be. Since I'm in the process of painting a
Longchamp GTS I found it very interesting but I became more confused the
more mails I read.

Then I found this article (about 30 pages), The Do It Yourself Paint Job,
and that was a nice little help a long my crooked little path that I walk.

Conclusion:
It's not cheap and it takes a lot of time.

PS It's now primed, elastic adhesive sealant over all seams/folds and satin
black is ordered to paint under/inside the vehicle.
