Daewoo shows new 13 models of CNC turning centers and Machining centers which have been developed with new design concept & advanced technology, and e-business platform, DOMSS(Daewoo On-line Marketing Support & Solution) com to do technical support and hold marketing strategy in common with Daewoo dealers in international machine tools show, EMO2003 which will be held in Milan, Italy from October 21 through 28.

Daewoo will make the event a stepping-stone towards its sales promotion in European market through its reinforced brand reputation under 3C catch phrase, Change of brand image, Challenge to the future and Chance to be world top MTB, With the third exhibition concepts of Productivity improvement, Optimized design to the industry and Multiple working with high precision, Daewoo shows up its various technical application and new models.

The first, as the concepts of high rigidity and precision, remarkable productivity improvement by wide range of machining application, Daewoo shows 4 turning centers, PUMA 240M, 2500MS, IV300 and IV300M, and 2 Vertical machining centers, ACE VC400 and VC500.

The second, from high speed machining to high rigidity machining, various machining capability, mold application and the design suitable for automatic manufacturing line, ACE HP5000, VM510 with iTNC530 controller and ACE HC400+7PMG+120 TOOLS.

The third, high functionality and precision multiple working machines to finish all processes in single set-up, Y-axis turning center, PUMA 1500Y, 2000SY and upper and lower turret with Y-axis function, PUMA TT2000SY, and combined function of 3axis vertical machining center and turning center, PUMA MX2500SZ.

PUMA 240M is one of the machines which are developed and serialized successfully 6 inch class to 12 inch newly on the basis of modeling and manufacturing technique of existing PUMA series. The machines feature variable controller application of Daewoo-Fanuc i series, Fanuc 21iT and 18iT and preparation of conversational programming solutions to all machines.

PUMA 2500MS is 10" class(Max. 3,500 rpm) machine with integral motor driven type main and sub spindle. The machine makes the line-up of previous PUMA1500/2000/2500 series in perfect. Rotary tool heads taken at the PUMA 240M and 2500MS are new concepts which obtained patent for an invention by its dual contact mounting. Thanks to its improved rigidity and performance, results of real test cutting show the increased cutting capacity and performance about 50% increase, compared with existing rotary tool head.

PUMA IV300 and IV300M are Inverted turn vertical spindle machine. They show their high performance capability to meet the requirement of mass production for automotive components by on Daewoo FMS solution.

Next generation horizontal machining center, ACE HP5000 has BT40, 12,000 rpm spindle. Its high speed machining solution begins from its basic specification, high feed rates 48 m/min to all axis, 1.5 sec of Automatic tool change and 8.5 sec of Automatic pallet change.

ACE VM510 inaugurates a new epoch in mold machining at high speed and high precision through its Heidenhain controller, iTNC530 with many program support solution for mold application and its thermal resistant and load flow adaptive construction.

Automatic manufacturing solution, ACE HC400 shows its ability and possibility of unmanned cycle operation support and possible productivity with the complete adaptation of abundant 120 tools magazine and 7 PMG.

PUMA TT2000SY is new developed turning center which has left & right hand spindles that have the same power and capacity, 25kW, 5000 rpm with upper & lower turrets, 12stations in the grounded box type bed.

Leading the functional integration of CNC turning center and Vertical machining center, PUMA MX2500SZ is to be called semi-machining center. Both turning spindles on the left and right are equipped integral motor driven spindles. Milling spindle head mounted on the upper saddle is also integral motor driven type, 10000 rpm, 18.5 kW. Especially servo driven turret, 12 stations is prepared on the lower saddle system to support turning jobs. On a wide experience and know-how of Daewoo machining center, cam type Automatic Tool changer and tool magazine which can keep 20 tools (KM63 type) as standard(opt. 40 tools, 80 tools) are prepared for the machine to show multiple working technology in single machine.
