I believe it had/has a BB Ford, around 502cui. Similar to Patrik Thelins yellow
pantera in:

No idea about the gearing.

Before the run:
Björn:
"I'm after the total record, which is 315. The problem is that the track is a
bit short. The accelleration run is only 1200m from the other end, and 1400 from
this end."
Speaker (during the run):
"The first run is fast, incredibly fast. 341kph, and it is all set for a new
record, but halfway home something happens."
Björn after the run:
"It was quick as hell, but I shot the clutch on the way back. I felt it right
after the turn around that I had lost it."
Speaker:
"Will there be any more attempts?"
Björn:
"No, the clutch is gone, unfortunately"
Speaker:
"No, unfortunately there was no new record, but it was close. Despite Björns
coasting the last half, the average was 313, two measly kph:s from the record."
