Bonneville - report from Sweden
It has already been mentioned on the list but here is some more information:
Kjell Holgersson and Bjorn Carapi went back to Bonneville to take the class record that is around 250 mph (400 km/h).

The did not get a chance to do it.
The salt was very hard (last winter to blame) so it was difficult to prepare the track. Not good conditions for a record attempt. They did a test run (with more appropriate rear tires from a hot roder that already had given up) and reached 169 mph (270 km/h). It felt good despite the lousy track.
Then it started to rain on Tuesday night so everything was cancelled on Wednesday morning.

And he did an excellent job with 209 mph (334 km/h)!
